Colville Capital was founded in 2006 with a vision of a better solution for investing in the smaller end of the middle market. We take pride in the unique structure of our investment partnership and the focused strategy we bring to growing businesses.
We work with business owners whose companies have solid fundamentals, a defensible market niche, and opportunities for growth. Our ideal owner seeks liquidity but also a responsible partner to accelerate growth and the transition from “good to great”. We invest in partnership with strong management teams who have conviction and excitement around taking their business to the next level.
Colville is emphatically not a fund, but an investment consortium: we are a partnership of selected individual and family office investors who also bring relevant experience and expertise to our companies. Most of our investors have personally built substantial businesses, and we have spent our careers investing with, advising, and working alongside business owners. Because of this, we understand and respect the nature and culture of smaller entrepreneurial companies.
